| Nomination Process |
In order to nominate a candidate for the Alumni High Achieve Award, please follow these steps:
1. Read the eligibility criteria and the rules for nominating candidates.
2. Fill out the nomination form – You can either fill it in onscreen or print it out and manually
type/hand write it in block capitals.
3. Attach this to the front of your supporting information, (which should be in the form of a word processing document if emailed).
4. Either post you completed nomination form and supporting information to:

| Selection |
| A selection committee appointed by the Executive Committee of the
Australian Alumni Association and the Senior Management of IDP
Education Australia, India, shall be established to consider the
nominations. The committee will consist of the President of AAA, Vice
President Director –IDP India, Manager (Graduate Services) IDP India,
and four members representing chapters, government, media, industry,
community at large. |
| Timelines |
Call for nominations hall be posted in the IDP India webpage,
Australian Alumni Association webpage, Alumin, SWAP India and in any
other medium deemed appropriate by the Committee. Last day for receipt
of nominations will be the last day in February of every year.
To be approved, the nominee must be supported by not les than two
thirds of the Committee members present at the meeting at which they
are considered. In the event of a successful nominee declining to
accept the Distinguished Alumni Award, the Committee may choose, but is
not obliged, to make another recommendation in the aforesaid manner.
Final selection will be completed by the last Saturday in February of
the same year.
The winner will be announced in the first week of March of the same year.

Presentation of Award
|
The Australian Alumni High Achiever Award normally will be presented at
a ceremony organized each year in March/April, unless otherwise
determined by the Managing Committee of IDP India and AAA.
The Award consists of a trophy (coated in silver and gold) and a framed
citation which includes the name of the recipient.
If a recipient is unable to receive the Distinguished Alumni Award in
person by virtue of disability or by reason of distance, or for any
other reason the Award will be presented in a manner determined by the
Committee.
